	Many of my friends have heard these beasts, but not yet met them. Just so you will know what is making all the noise while we talk...


	This is Casey. He is almost 7 years old. He weighs almost 140lb. That is a full-size wine barrel planter he is lying in front of. He has incredible energy. We call him our "Jack Russel Mastiff." That tranlates into "bouncy and hyper" plus "really big." He sounds like a wolf when he barks/bays. Casey is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (Swissy). Swissies were bred to pull carts for a living. There are 3 other Swiss Mountain Dog breeds, the Bernese, Entlebucher, and Appenzeller. They are cousins of the St. Bernard.


	This is Tiberius Leonidas (Tibs). He is almost 7 months old. He weighs almost 70 lb. He will be twice that eventually. Half his volume is hair. The rest is just fluffy affection. He sounds like an angry cement mixer when he barks. Tibs is a Great Pyrenees (Pyr). Pyrs were bred to guard sheep, in the snow. They have double dew claws and webbed toes (snow shoes). And even a bear can't bite through the mane around their neck. Tibs is the family movie star. You can see him in "Santa Buddies 2," coming this Christmas. He and 8 other pups play "Puppy Paws."


	This is both of the boys looking obedient because I just showed them a dog biscuit. This is why I do not lock the office. These pictures were taken 3/25/2010.
